Karrie believes the world would be a better place if we all practiced yoga and she has experienced firsthand the transformative effects of yoga philosophy and mindfulness. Passionate about the mental and emotional health benefits of the practice, she combines compassion and curiosity in her classes.
She has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years and earned her RTY-200 from Parallel 45 Vancouver in 2022. Through her continuing education in trauma-sensitive yoga and her alignment-focused approach to postures, Karrie uses her energy to create both an emotionally and physically safe space in class. Eager to make yoga more accessible to all, she encourages the use of props and modifications for students.
Karrie has lived in 13 states and is proud to have called the PNW home since 2015. When she’s not in the studio she can often be found hiking with her family, seeking awe in nature and leading adventures with a local women’s hiking group.
